Loan Syndication with IFC – International Finance Corporation

We are happy to announce that AfI successfully participated in and concluded (on behalf of Invest in Visions GmbH) an IFC – International Finance Corporation syndicated loan transaction denominated in Mongolia Tugrik equivalent to USD 9 million to leading Mongolian non-banking financial institution – Transcapital NBFI

AfI arranged this transaction for Invest in Visions GmbH, who shall be extending around USD 3 million in this deal, and managed all commercial and legal aspects of the transaction for IIV.

This is our third syndication deal arranged for IIV since 2019 and our second collaboration with IFC, with the earlier two loans of USD 19 million and USD 9.6 million, respectively, being extended to Kazakhstan NBFC – LLC Microfinance Organisation “KMF”.

On this innovative transaction, our CEO, Dr. Andrij Fetsun said, “We are very happy to have facilitated this IFC syndicated loan for our valued client, IIV. The SME industry in Mongolia was most impacted by the COVID pandemic, but we are confident that this debt investment will help Mongolian businesses, especially micro and women-owned enterprises to get back on their feet.”
