- Day 01
We are excited to share highlights from Day 1 of our Impact Executive Training, “#ESG Transformation for Financial Service Providers,” which took place on November 22-23 in Bali.
During the first day of the training, our esteemed participants learned the fundamentals of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and discussed how to transform corporate strategy for long-term success. Topics included sustainability, climate risks, and their impact on firms, as well as balancing the integration of Net Zero goals and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in ESG strategies.
The sessions also included a practical component—simulated exercises and interactive games that challenged our leaders from various MFIs to find solutions in alignment with ESG principles and sustainability practices, applying the knowledge they gained during the training.
Additionally, participants had the opportunity to witness ESG in action during a field visit to the
sustainable and eco-friendly rice terraces.

- Day 02
On the second day of our Executive Training program, titled “#ESG Transformation for Financial Service Providers” in Bali, we explored several key topics: Building Trust Through ESG and Effective Communication, developing an ESG Plan: Sustainability Pathways for my institution, and concluded with a Program Wrap-Up and Certificate Presentation.
Through interactive discussions and role-playing exercises, participants learned how to effectively convey their institution’s commitment to ESG principles to stakeholders, thereby improving trust and enhancing their corporate reputation.
The day concluded with a Program Wrap-Up and Certificate Presentation, where participants
reflected on the insights gained and the connections made throughout the training. Certificates were awarded to each participant, symbolizing their commitment to driving positive change within their organizations. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment and inspiration as attendees left with renewed determination to implement ESG principles, making a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
By the end of out training, our participants were captivated by a vibrant cultural program featuring traditional Balinese dances and a theatrical performance. It was truly wonderful to immerse ourselves in the spirit of Bali!
